A Film Noir Photoshoot

Since living in LA I've always wanted to create a Film Noir-inspired photoshoot.
You know....the dangerously sexy dame flirting with the whisky-swilling gumshoe. All moodily lit of course : )
As luck would have it I was recently house-sitting at THE perfect location....a fabulous 1930's house in the Los Feliz Hills. One terrace even had a backdrop of downtown LA.
I managed to persuade Vickey and Tom to discover their acting chops for their engagement shoot.....take a look at how they did here in the slideshow.....with some very sexy music...

Hi Claire,

I just wanted to let you know I checked out your blog and I really like it. Your work is great, and I will definitely be looking at your work for inspiration. A Film Noir Photoshoot looked like it was a lot of fun to shoot.

Also

My names Rob Castillo and I met you Thursday night at the Chopin Vodka party for the Santa Barbara International Film Festival.

I just wanted to let you know I am trying to find you the right person.

I'd offer my services but I am no where near expert yet. Although I can do many things in CS4, Flash, Final Cut Pro, Lightroom, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and many other Adobe software's.

I'd greatly enjoy to work for you in the future however. Maybe that could work itself out when the time comes that I am more proficient with many of these programs.

Anyway, I'll be looking for an assistant/ retoucher for you.

I hope you have a wonderful Friday,
Rob
